Selina-Moto?

So I have these really bad off fiberglass fairings on my 97 F3.... So i been trying to find fairings that are cheap but will work if i put some work into them! I found Red Bull Selina-Moto fairings! They look promising..... but here is my question is Selina-Moto a good place to get these fairings from? has anyone dealt with them before?

These are the Red Bull ones i like (it was either red bull or repsol but a lot of people do the repsol soo i thought i go with something different!)

What do you do for the tank so it matches?

Ninja 500 Jul 13, 2010 11:38 PM

The tank covers always look bad soo i just going to take it off and take it to a paint shop ask the to paint the same color blue as on the fairings

my buddy has ebay fairings on his 900rr. If you notice all the fairing companys are the same just listed under different member names.

The fairings themselves are ok. They fit pretty good and look decent. The problem with them is that they are paper thin. In fact some of the fairings that came had small stress cracks right out of the box.

He paid over $500 with shipping for his, waited a month and got them and some were cracked.....

Most shops in my area will paint a complete bike with tank for $300-$500 depending on how detailed you go. If you have stock fairings still id go that way.

Just my .02 cents worth :icon_razz:

Ps stay away from fiberglass fairings also. They need alot of prep work to look really good.

Bought two sets of fiberglass fairings from eBay for two different CBRs. They took some mods to get them to fit right. On both the posts where you screw in the headlight to the fairing broke after putting the headlight on. I left the screws in, placed the headlight as it should be on the fairing, and used epoxy to glue it in place. That worked. One set had the tank cover and it was not a good fit and cracked.

Well I am not getting fiberglass. I am soo fed up with the ones i have on it right now! But yea I think I will get these! I would just get someone to paint fairings but no fairings to get painted besides the crappy fiberglass ones

So I am about to jack my own thread! but I found some dog bones for my ninja 500 I heard if u raise them they will make the handling better. is this true?

Holy crap thats a crazy tail on the bike. I now know why you want new fairings.

I haven't had any problems with fiberglass, and turbo you get my email? can you send the tail pictures again to me? Think it was a pm to you.

The fairings came in today!! WOOT! they look so good! I got the front half on with one of my friends before i had to go to work! i'll try to post pictures tomorrow. It actually came well shipped...... like it wasn't just all thrown in boxes.... it actually was secure. I am very happy with them! everything looks great!

I cant say enough on how it improved the look of my bike (not hard to do) but still!

Anyways wish me luck tomorrow hoping everything goes on well without breaking or have large gaps

Peace for now
