Prior to putting the bike away for the winter I changed out the clutch cable as it was pretty stretched out. After changing it out I think I may have routed the cable wrong through the frame. Now I keep breaking the clutch adjustment screws on the clutch lever. I was wondering if anyone could take pics of the proper routing of this cable from the motor to the lever through the frame. Thanks

 

not sure if others use it, but i ziptied the end of one cable to the beginning of the other and pulled it through to the clutch basket.

after properly attaching it, i lubed the ends properly and then adjusted the lever to my liking.

I'm sure IDoDirt can clear some things up concerning your issue if that doesn't help

 

Thanks Spicy. Unfortunately I am unable to do that. I had carelessly already removed the original cable without verifing its placement within the frame.
