Default Reversed polarity on battery!!! Broke!

Hi all,
I stupidly put my battery in the wrong way today. No electrics at all. Checked the starter relay which has a 30amp fuse - this had popped so replaced it reconnected everything and it popped another.... it seems to be drawing too much current further down the line somewhere... any ideas?

Hi Andrew, not saying this is your problem, but when I did something similar and had the same problem with the main fuse blowing all the time, it turned out to be the reg/rec.

Luckily I had a spare, popped it in and she started right up.

The rectifier was broke? Well the red/white wire goes to that so it might be??

I had a friend diagnose the problem for me, electrics is a black art to me I'm afraid.

I'll go and buy one tomorrow along with a load of 30a fuses! Only first day I've had my first bike too :/
