Rear Stand
Want to get a Swingarm Stand & not pay a fortune. Want the kind that you don't need spools. Any suggestions or comments are welcome...

I've read that some owners like the Harbor Freight rear stands.
Motorcycle Swingarm Rear Stand ($40 - swingarm version) Low Profile Rear Motorcycle Spool Stand ($50 - spool version) I know Pit Bull is one of the more expensive but I just found out that they are made in the USA and very good quality. They delivered my Pit Bull Newstand (front steering head stand) yesterday and I am quite happy with the quality. I don't mind paying a bit more if it's not some Chinese made stuff and the construction is as good as this one. Like the tag on the unit says, "Your Pit Bull will outlast your bike". :) |
T-rex is a popular reasonably-priced option, but since they're a racing-targeted company I'm not sure that they have much for swingarms without spools.
particular reason you don't like spools? |
i have a t-rex non-spooled stand, works great! paid $40 bucks for it too...

I agree with you Roadi, I just never understood why such a low-tech item should cost $100 or more dollars. The Harbor Freight might be flimsy, I dont know though. Checked out the T-Rex $65 is pretty reasonable. Can I put spools on my F3?

I have the HF stand. Only good for about 1 winter storage if not used on level terrain. My driveway isn't level and after last year's winter, there was a very slight bend.

I actually bought it locally, ended up getting the rear & front stands both for $80 bucks.
