Project CBR600F3

This all started with finding a deal on a frame and engine but not from the same guy. The frame is a 96 and the engine is a 97. Starting this project killed Project Katana 01. Luckly I can use the front end off of it on this cbr. Before you say anything, no its not a stock Katana front end. If anyone needs Katana parts I have almost a complete bike. Here are some early pics.

Easy to install the engine in the frame when you drop the frame over the engine :D

See I told you it wasn't a stock Katana front end. So who wants to know how I did it?

Awesome project you have! Looks progressive so far, keep it up!

Is it a low mileage motor?

Did some more work last weekend. Installed the front brakes, fairing brace, gauge cluster, and the gas tank. The picture of the front brakes didn't turn out well. I'm take a better pic later. The calipers are from a hayabusa. So stopping power to weight should be really good. 12 pistons up front I hope it stops.

I'm a little confused.. Your next to the last post shows an inverted fork. Your last post when you said its finished, and its been painted blue it has a standard fork.

+1??? Where did it go? LOL

It looked like a killer frontend, all that beside, how did she do?

Well since I'm planning on using this bike for WERA next year. I had to put the stock forks back on. Dang WERA Rulebook.

Before you ask, I already sold the complete inverted setup.
