I'm very familiar with F3's and that part doesn't look familiar at all. Are you sure its from your bike????
How big is this piece (there's nothing in your pics to give an indication of scale)????

I just built my bike and i have no idea how big that piece is but it almost looks like an engine to frame spacer. Like up where the top frame brackets bolt to the engine block or perhaps where the two arms all the way forward come down and have the frame sliders on the sides????? I dont know just an idea. Hope it helps.
