If I've done this right, there should be pictures of my 1997 F3 I picked up this morning here in the UK. As we're going into winter here the prices of bikes are dropping and I picked this up for a good price.

It's in good condition and has been garaged all its life. It needs one fork seal attending to but is otherwise sound and goes like a dream. Never had a CBR before and took it out in the sunshine on the back roads for a couple of hours today. Really enjoyed it. The handling is great and very confidence inspiring.

WOW, that looks to be in excellent condition, im looking for me a new bike now. Have only found two in that kinda shape that were not scams. And they sold within a day or two of being put up for sale.

Luckily i'll be in town for the next two weeks and have time to search around for something. Maybe i'll get lucky and come across something that nice, looking for a F4i myself. Have had both the F4 and F4i and just prefer the fuel injection, althought the looks of the F3-F4 are appealing to me as well.

 

That looks really cherry!! I'm interested in those Frame Sliders. I've never seen ones like that for the F3. They're not attached to the motor mount. Can you get some closer images of them ? What brand are they ?

 

European F3/F2 have better paint schems. Sweet bike ride it like you stole it.

 

We only had the choice of Black & Silver (mine) Black & Orange or the Tri colour (Red, White & Blue & that colour was hard to get) The Yellow & the bike itself look great, The F3's are a true classic in every sense of the word. They will scratch, tour, commute (bit of a waste) & if your smooth, will leave others wondering why they forked out big $'s on the latest sports bike. Although my opinion is fairly biased

No idea what brand the sliders are as they're not branded in any way. I'll see if I can get a pic for you. They came with the bike so I don't know where the previous owner got them.
