petcock position?
stupid question, just got a 97 600 f3, and its great, problem is at paint the decal indicating on off or reserve was removed, and i dont know which is on or reserve, any help would be greatly appreciated

well, I just bought a 95 that also had no markings. I was told that up is RES, forward is OFF, and down is ON (main)

Dont drive on reserve all the time if the tank has gunk at the bottom it can get sucked into the carbs easier

After cleaning my carbs thoroughly an replacing the fuel filter, I'm in the process of acid washing my tank. My tanks inside liner is just hanging off the metal and falling apart getting every clogged up. |

If someone could help...I have a Honda 97 cbr 600 and my petcock isn’t labeled...but the only options are forward (west), down (south), or Backwards (east). And I was previously told that left is reserve, down is off and back is regular tank. Appreciate the help. |
