Default People with f4i shock in their F3

Hey guys I have been thinking about this for a while because I really would like to raise my rear. I read a bit about it but I never found answers to some questions I had.

1)is it direct swap? is all i need the shock itself and nothing else?

2)did you have the need to swap the kick stand too? i do not plan on this and was wondering if i would have problems

3)the resevoir tube is alot shorter on the F4i shock. how did you mount the resevoir? does it still reach the stock F3 spot??

answers would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Straight swap. A bit hards to fit it cause its a bit longer, took me a little while but i was on my own and with no jacks or stands. You might need couple of prying bars or big screw drivers to get it in plaice.
You will no be able to attache gas cilinder in the original plaice, i used few zip ties and plaiced on the left side of the bike under the subframe next to fuel pump. You side stand wont rich the groung (well it will but the bike will almost be on its side) so you'll have to make a plate to extend the mounting points.
Mind you the rear is a good bit higher(i did want this for racing).
I have priload adjusted to the max (7) to make the shock as short as possible and even at that its still a tad too high. Will not bother you on the track but a bit tricky in everyday day riding through trafic.
Any how, the shock itself is alot better and stiffer.
Any more questions?

Also, put in some new fork oil viskosity 15 to stiffen up the front to match the rear after swaping the shock.

wow, the height change is really that drastic? I've been hearing 2 inches. I didnt think a 2 inch raise would affect the side stand that much.

also is there a way we can lengthen the resevoir hose? i really like the stock location and since the f4i one is so short the canister wont even be visable since the subframe is covered up unlike on f4is

2" is not much but i cant flat foot on both sides at the same time anymore and im 5f10".
Dont think you can modify gas hose. Mind you mine is adjustable with all the fairings and the tail on the bike as the original would be. I can take a few pictures for you so you can have a look if you want.

Jesus man, wouldnt be worth your while asking me i'd say. I could probably make another one if you are realy stuck. Where abouts are you? Cause im located in Ireland :-)
If you wanna make it yourself i can send you the axaxt dimensions and a sketch for holes and all. Not very hard to make one if you have some tool handy
