Default Oil on my Plugs

I have oil on two of my plugs. my plugs are fouling causing my bike to sputter a bit. Are there any temporary fixes for this or am I going to have to break down and go with a rebuild kit?

i looked into purchasing a new used motor, but it's a bit pricey. a rebuild is my only option, unless i sell the bike and find a new one. On ebay, they have decent looking pistons with decent rings. would this be something to steer clear of?

You don't have to replace the pistons. The cylinders would need to be honed and new rings put in, but unless there is something wrong with the pistons, you can reuse them. If there is cylinder damage, then maybe it would have to be bored, that would be expensive. A new used engine might be the better way at that time.

Have you done a compression test ? Is it blowing smoke ?

i don't have a comp. test. and i'm not blowing any smoke at all, which was a bit suprising to me considering how much oil was on the plugs? does this mean something else?

Are you sure its oil ?How quickly do they get fouled or covered ? Which plugs ? Maybe you have an ignition problem and they are just getting wet with fuel.

I'm pretty sure it was oil. The liquid was a bit thick and dark also, it ran up the threads a little bit and that part was definately oil. I believe it was my 3 and 4 plugs that were wet. they seem to foul pretty shortly after i clean them.
