Default F3 handbook

F3 handbook
some pic that I uploaded didn’t turn up here🤔. I have the F3 sticker under the saddle and the Fi light on the dash. I have the complete owner and service history back to ‘03. I’m not trying to convince anyone about anything. I just find this a curious situation the log book states F3. I’ll try to upload photos again later.

Not sure if this will help or hurt the conversation but this is a pic of my f3 owners manual cover.

Yes, in the US, Honda designated the bikes as 600F3, 600F4, then the 600F4i for the fuel injected model. In the EU, they only called them 600F and then would have a letter of the alphabet like S or T in sequence for each year. Asking someone in the EU about models that are sold in the US could easily make a mistake about what model is the equivalent one. No harm, no foul. Just some understandings becoming clear. It's all good.

Here is the serial list for 1999 - 2006 in the US. Notice that the frame serial # "3M" is the designation for 2003. "2M" was 2002, and "4M" is 2004.

Ya know, now that I'm thinking about it and looking at those serial numbers, I seem to recall someone on this forum referring to a US model CBR600F4 from 1999 as a CBR600FX. That X is what is in the serial number for the 1999 model.

Yeah, in the UK the FX was for the 99 non injected F4 as was FY for the 00 non injected F4.
F01 2,3 etc were for the injected F4's

But as Toyah would say 'Ithss a Mystery'

It also looks like that is a full serial number list as Deaconblue's would be covered by the 03 (A) series.
