Odd noise while F3 in neutral

This actually May not be an odd noise at all LOL... im just really new to this bike.. Okay, So when i have the bike in first gear with the clutch in i get no chatter or noise from the transmission/clutch... when its in neutral without the clutch on *of course LOL* i hear a noise.. its not a grinding.. or a squeal.. its just a noise? LMAO to me what it sounds like is a clutch noise...its pretty faint.. in fact i cant hear it unless I'm sitting on the bike or have my face down at the engine area i cant hear it at all...If i had to try and guess, im thinking the clutch isn't fully disengaging? I dont really know... like i said in my previous posts I'm very new to this style of bike as well as this new of a bike LOL.. my last one was from the 70's. Anyway thanks for reading have a good one

Mark (the nervous guy) LOL

if you think its the clutch not disengaging try adjusting the clutch at the handle, other wise not much else to go on by just a noise lol.

Most bikes will make noise when the bike is in neutral with the clutch out especially older bikes as the basket wears things start breaking in so to speak. Nothing to worry about ride.
If you pull the clutch in while in neutral the noise goes away right?

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been on mini holiday at a wedding. But yes roboto it does go away with clutch engaged. I'm glad its not much to worry about.. Again sorry for asking such "Noob" questions but until i got this bike I've never even sat on one of these style bikes or had any friends who have owned them LOL. The friends i have that do ride, one drives a Harley and the other is a Vulcan.. I assume when we ride together it will look like the parade of misfit toys.. LOL anyway thanks again!
