A non descript metallic noise
Aloha all,
Over the weekend I cleaned my F3 pretty thoroughly and now there seems to be a problem. I noticed it yesterday as I left for work but chalked it up to an improperly lubed chain. Then again this morning as I am leaving for work I hear this sort of grinding sound. Immediately turn around and come back to the house and check things out again. It sounds and feels like it is the chain rubbing from misalignment, but I didnt adjust anything, and I checked real quick, its all square and the lines and threads match and the little line trick is right, I only cleaned and cleaned again. Does anyone have any thoughts, or should I just put some more lube on the chain and let it eat? I have been through all the normal things, and I am not a goodun, its just got me scratching my head a little....thanks |

Maybe the flux capacitor got wet causing the time continueum reciprocator to misalign and rub against the inflight earorator causing the grinding noise you spaek of?

Thanks Kid, I have beenputtin around for a bit trying to narrow it down. I cant seem to. it really is aggrevating, if I had adjusted anything I would at least have a place to look, I though maybe some paper towel remnents got stuck in the chain or sprockets, but nope. I will keep looking and listening and if I find anymore out I will post, now back to the flux capacitor removal......
