Well, thats MC repair for ya, but great it didnt end up causing you a lot of trouble/cost you a lot of money. Since you noticed a lot of aftermarket parts on the bike, i guess its safe to say that the previous owner(s) fiddled with the bike themselves, maybe it wouldnt be a bad idea to either check the bike over yourself, or have a mechanic spend half an hour on it.

yeah i have been doing some checking over on it. im gonna pull the carbs and clean em when i get some jets for it. it has pipe and intake but was never jetted i dont think . so im gonna get some jets clean the carbs change the oil and filter. and the brake fluid. new plugs and such just kinda a basic tune up. just gotta save up all the cash to do it all at once. it has a few quirks to it. but hopefully ill get her purring like a kitten soon. it doesnt have any plastics. on it when i got it. but the tank is black with gold and purple. i wanna try to squeeze as much power out of her as i can. without regearing.
