Thank you so much for your comments. That really makes it worth doing when I get interest like that in my products. I always want to bring somthing new that no one has seen to the table. I would like to get sponsorship from CBR Forum but I dont know who exactly to contact about it. This is now the leading forum thread on the website more than 2,000 hits in two months. Thanks guys for all your support. Keep the comments coming. I plan on sending a free Mellinium carbon acssesory to all of you guys who commented when the project is complete ( dont get to excited it will be a cool carbon key chain or somthing, not a fender guys , lol).

Looking good! Are your lights going to have clear acrylic lenses over them?

 

Here are the new pics with the holes cut for the high power amber driving lights. These lights are 55 watt same as a standard head light and produce brilliant amber beams of light. These do wonders for night riding. The bulbs are solid weather safe glass with a halon coating they also feature thier own shock absorbers to eat road bumbs and engine vibration. I have not had time to complete the fixtures in the back, so this is just pics with the light set up behind the unit. As to your question about the acyrilic coverings, the assemblies will not have an acyrilic cover over them. All the lights and components are weather safe so it is not nessesary, the finished unit will look similar to the Buell Firebolt in the way it is mounted into the fairing. Although it would create a more stock appearance it would add alot of cost to the project and also add unwanted wieght. I will be using acyrilic on some of my personal body mods though, so check those out later. Take a look....
