can;'t wait to see it! Just a side question, have you considered making an F2-F3 undertail? Possibly market that? You'd be the only company selling them

I would easily be able to produce them. It is actually on my list of parts to design for my own bike I just have been too buisy with these first pieces. If anybody wished to have one made I would make them on request. About a two week turn around time from the date of order. Because of the size of the gap that must be covered and the fact that all I use for production is 100% Italian carbon, the price may be higher than normal, I dont know. I would have to get at least $75 to $100 for the part to make it worth it. I would consider a group buy discount. Let me know if anyone is interested, send me a PM.

Thanks Everyone

I would be very intrested. I do have another question though. Would this undertail be like a hotbodies design with LED turn signals molded in? Or, just a normal undertail? Thanks in advance

Count me in too. I'm in the market for a undertail.

Thank you for all the intrest in my products. Let me get a more accurate number together for production for you. I will post the prices and features similar to what I supplied for the previous kit. I will include an option for a unit with blinkers and a plate mount also. I will post as soon as I have more information for you.

Thanks again,

FINALLY!!! All the delayes caused by mold failure have been fixed and we are now producing carbon. Here it is, I wanted to share the new pics and experience of the first carbon headlight assembly being pulled from the pilot mold. This part is un-finished meaning it has to get another coat of resin and a layer of clear coat that is wet sanded before it reaches its finished state. First, the carbon was a hard thing to get a hold of early this year because of a world wide shortage of carbon supplies due to government and the fact that everything high performance now uses carbon as a crucial element. There just was not enough carbon to go around esspecially to individual buyers with small orders. I finally after a week or so of sourcing found a man who could get me small amounts of a new carbon that was designed specificaly for light weight high performance aircraft. I recieved a picture of the Millennium weave and fell in love, it is not even availible in the U.S. currently so you will not see this weave on anything you will encounter (very trick). I bought his entire stock. It has incredible strength and rigidness, The carbon is constucted of millions of micro carbon filiament that are laid in a large twill like weave ( reminds me off a checkered flag ) that produces a carbon that formes more easily to complex shapes and also supplies incredible stength because of the better fusion of filaments between sheets, almost creating a double thick weave. You can understand why this would be suited to airplanes. My headlight assembly is made from two layers of Millennium weave carbon fiber that are saturated and then bonded together on a flat surface. This new wet sheet is then placed on top of the male mold to let gravity do alot of the work. The female goes on top and 125lbs of force is applied evenly to the mold for 10 hours and you have just created somthing almost as strong as steel and as light as a feather. Enjoy...

The molds are laid out and the carbon is ready to be bonded.

The wet carbon sheets are then sandwiched between the polyurethane molds and compressed at 125lbs.
