Default NEW!! couple of ?s

first... i tried doing a search for this mod but couldnt find it i guess i typed it in wrong or something. is it possible to use the f4 digital cluster on a 96 f3??
second i have a 170 tire on the rear... can i fit a 180 without it rubbing the chain because it looks a little close for comfort even with the 170.
thanks guys!

Well first off the F4 doesnt have digital gauges...the F4i does though. But yes its possibly.....a few others on this forum have done it. It just requires a custom bracket to hold the new cluster on...and a temp sensor from a 98-99 CBR900RR.

.....i would stick with the recommened 160 on the rear....i wouldnt go bigger than whats recommened. You could do 170......butdont do 180.....its not recommened with the stock rim

I have a 180 on my stock rim. It is a little taller tire which that makes it dive in a little faster in turns but do what you think is best...

If this helps at all... I have a 180 tire on by bike (it came on bike) And I'm going to a 170, i don't hit the twisties either (yet.) It just feels like crap taking regular turns.
