any one want to help me fix my new bike? heres the situation.the bike ran fine when i bought it,i took it home the battery died,i replaced the battery and tried starting it .... in order for it to start i have to turn the idle up high and lowwer it as it gets warmed up.the other day i went to start it and it would start, it throwes out gas fumes outa the exhaust and the spark plugs are black and smell of gas.Everyone is telling me that i have to get the carbs cleaned and then it should run fine.BTW the bike was stored over the winter and the guy put gas stablizer in it and since i got it i replace the fule filter and put some fresh gas in it. thanx for any help btw its a 98 cbr 600[/align]

 

1) Replace the plugs
2) Check the airfilter
if the bike doesn't fire up. then pull the carbs.

Also has the battery died since. the f3's have a problem with the R/R burning out. Just might be a future problem.

 

well the battery hasnt died again only cuz after i run it a few times i put the charger back on it but is there an upgrded r/r for it?
