OK ppl I'm getting ready to sell my 98 F3 in December and I was looking at the book value which was around $2600.00 for good condition. The pic I have doesn't do my bike justice. I have many upgrades and new parts. I didn't know if upgrades would depreciate the value like it does a car. I have 25K miles and I was hoping to sell it around $3800.00. Upgrades & new parts are

Custom pearl blue paint
black levers
new tires w/35 miles on them
new tank
new one piece tail
black foot pegs
smoked windscreen
new xenon headlight
new battery
new brakes
blue rim tape
new plastic vents
new mirrors

The bike runs strong and starts right up. Ive done about 125mph on it and still haven't maxed out the throttle
but the first gear isn't fast enuff and maybe can get 0 to 35 before i redline. So I'm going to get a RR 1000 casue I need that super thrust take off to make my life complete. so can anyone advise me if my askin price is too much and if so what's feasible.

Nice bike, but I think you're a little mistaken on how fast you go at redline in first gear. With stock gearing the speed at redline is 63 mph. Even if you lowered it to 14/45, it would still be 57mph. I'm not sure how you're making that 35 mph determination, but I think you may want to look again.
