You, sir, are my hero. Where would I be able to buy every one of these hoses and parts?

One of your hoses from the solenoid valve isn't connected to anything, but the diagram shows it should be connected to another air filter. Is that correct?

Also it seems there's some sort of electrical wiring attached to the solenoid valve as well that's not pictured on the diagram. Any ideas?

Glad to help. You can get the parts you need from Cheapcycleparts.com, bikebandit.com or other. After you enter all your bikes parameters select the fiche for carburetor assy.

"One of your hoses from the solenoid valve isn't connected to anything, but the diagram shows it should be connected to another air filter. Is that correct?" - The air filter is disconnected for the purposes of the picture. The air filter is pushed over to the left side of the frame.

The other end of the electrical connection for the solenoid goes to the outer side of the right frame, just above the thermostat.

Every site that I check has all of the parts I need sold out. How do I go about obtaining sold out parts?

hamlin6 09-23-2018 07:33 PM

I suppose that would pose a problem. There might be something on ebay or Craigslist. In the past I've purchased entire carb sets to get the out of stock parts I needed. If you do the math, sometimes that is even cheaper anyway.

You can always go to an auto parts store and get a length of hose that fits over the T joints between the carbs. You would have to rig up something for the T where they come together.
Did you say that fuel started coming out the white T's when you were working on it? If that's the case you have some other issues.

Yes, fuel was coming from the white Ts. I'm guessing it's because one of the carb black plastic caps was cracked so air was getting in. I just removed my carbs and the jets, needles, etc and am bringing them in to get cleaned. Then I'll replace the float needles and gaskets, get a new cap, see if the problem still exists, and then attach the hosing. I found a cbr f3 parts bike going for 500, but they said I can just come and pay for some individual parts. I need

Fuel pump bracket
Rectifier, harness
Idle cable spring and bracket
Lower throttle cable
Carb cover thing
Solenoid hoses
Choke screw

What do you think would be a fair price for these things?

Hi, I order my genuine Honda parts at www.cmsnl.com

If it were me, I would figure out how much new costs then offer 3/8ths to 1/2 of that. If course the more pieces you buy, the easier it is to strike a bargain.
