On my way to my first ride out on the f3
Just on the train from Yorkshire to southport (UK) to pick my bike up from my uncle's house (he has a garage and I don't). Passed my mod 2 on Thursday, picking the bike up,then my uncle and I are off for my first ride out, so if you see a silver Daytona 955i and a nervous CBR600F3 behind it, give me a wave for some encouragement!
Can't wait. The sun has made an appearance and things are looking good.
Even the fact that I've needed to take 4 trains to get there and all of them have been delayed so far isn't quashing my excitement! This day has been a long time coming! Nearly 6 months from CBT to passing due to crappy weather and the new laws coming in. (I'm over 24 but priority was given to under 24s)

Very Cool, first ride on a new bike is always the best. When I collected mine it was miles away in Hartlepool(280 mi to Bristol) but I loved it. I also took my bike to work yesterday and the weather was remarkably good so you picked a good day and a great bike. Also the wait just makes you appreciate it all the more, i find.

They changed the laws for under 24's in the UK.
I think, and im sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.
Under 24's have to sit their test on a smaller bike, then resist it again to get on a bigger bike once they hit 24.
Again, I'm not 100% sure as I was over 24 and it didn't affect me.
What an interesting ride yesterday.
Sunny for the first couple of hours of riding, then the temp dropped, it started raining/snowing, and was very windy.
Spent about another 2.5 hours on the bike, clocked up nearly 100 miles.
Loved it though!
