That looks good. I like the lower cut fairing. I like a long tail myself, but hey it's your bike. Keep the pics coming please!

cut the tail pipe about 6-7 inches shorter

traced the masonite mock-up of the tail fairing onto 16 gauge sheet metal, cut it out, painted it and slapped some left over stickers on it. shorty tail pipe is back on. head lamp and turn signals in the mail from aztec8.com. cbr f4i gauges coming soon

Headlight and turn signals from aztec8.com now mounted, but waiting for wires to be ran

the main tail fairing is now on metal and cardboard mock-up of the filler piece of metal that will cover the spot between the tank and tail fairing is in place and waiting to go onto metal and then be welded to the main tail fairing. there is still a small piece of frame still sticking out the tail that i will cut off once i start building the tail

both pieces of the tail fairing have been cut and welded. i then used bondo so smooth out the angle

both left and right fairings are completed and bolted to the frame

there is a gap between the tank and tail fairing that is there because i just set tank loose on the bike. once the tank is bolted down the gap will be gone

left side tail fairing is complete but not installed in this picture

next project is to bondo the lower edges of the tank so that its nice and smooth coming down to the tail fairing and frame rail

Looks good, i am doing one similar but i went a little further chopping/re welding the sub frame because i am mounting a duc solo tail.

Also not a fan of the dirt bike bar setup, the racer in me just wont allow it. Clip-ons and rear sets all the way. Your bike looks good! Where did you relocate your fuse panel to?
