Molten Orange with Cosmic Dust

Molten Orange with Cosmic Dust
Finally got around to spraying the plastics and tank yesterday.
Original color was sparkling red, 97 F3.
The cosmic dust base coat is a silver with flake in it. And the orange is a candy orange.
I know its kind of a weird thread to start, but I was so excited to finally see it.
Still needs another coat of candy, along with the couple layers of straight clearcoat. Wet sanding as well.
The 2 spots where there was rash came out perfect. Hardest part? The spots where the stock stickers were.
I swear the adhesive they use on the bottom of the OEM stickers could keep a space shuttle together in low orbit.

We sprayed all the black plastic parts with the base coat silver. My maintenance covers were black anyway, so I'm sticking to that. Respraying the black plastic pieces and the maintenance panels with the black over the silver so that its still black, but still shows up in the sunlight.
My buddies doing the painting, and as we were leaving he asked me: "What about your wheels? Want'em molten too?"
So the wheels will be painted the same color now too.
