Default Lights

So I got some new bulbs for my right and left turn signals. I got it close as possible to the ones I already had installed. Just wondering if there could be problems if I put in the wrong bulbs. Im worried about overheating the wires.

All i have to say is try not to touch the bulb to much!! and if the wrong bulbs are put it most likley they will not work and your wires could overheat.

You should be able to do a little research on the Internet. Compare the wattage rating of the bulb you're installing to the one that's reccomended. If they're close, then don't give it a second thought. You would really have to significantly increase the amount of current that's going through the wires to heat them enough to melt them. That much change in current is going to blow your fuses. That would be the first indication that you've got an issue.
