lookin to get this one but are they good ? will they let in moisture to promote rust in the tank ?

 

I've got one, but mine's a vortex. It's got a little rubber gasket thingie on the part which lifts off, so as long as it doens't dry out, the tank shouldn't get any moisture. I'm happy with mine though, just don't go parking the bike where it's unattended, don't want the gas stolen or sugar in the tank...

 

yea JUST won one off ebay.....I am pretty sure for the money its straight, but thats just what Im leaning on. To me it seems like an a$$hole would be more likely to just not ur bike down then to take the time to mess w/ ur gas.

got the same off ebay after my gas cap lock assembly exploaded lol. around 100 bucks its a vortex i believe, works great except the threadas are a little tight and may take me 2-3 tries to get it started.. only a small gripe really. way better than stock or the velcro i had holding the OEM cap down.

 

Do a search on ebay for SSR F3 gas caps (I think that's it; been awhile). Got mine in black $65.00 shipped.
