Default Just a short one.Cheers

Hi. Lovely forum with lots of info.
Im about ot buy a CBR600F3'1995. I live in Ireland. The bike is a USA import as i was told.
So i just wanted to know if there is a big difference between normal CBR and California model.
The reason why i ask is because inthe user manual i notesed some extra stuff that are present just on California models. So is there any reason why i should stay away from that particular model in case if the bike that im about ot buy is one of them.
I just notesed things like : secondary air suply sistem and evaporativ emision control sistem, wich conect to the carbs making everything a bit more complex and havyer. I repair my bikes myself so wouldnt like to buy a bike that i wouldnt be able to get the parts for or fix myself.
Cheers.

California just has a lot sricter emission regulations, thus more emission control's on the bikes dunno how it effect's the performance, probably takes it down a bit, but it should smell cleaner

I thought as much. Just was looking for some one who has one of this to get some feed back. I'm thinking if do buy that one i'll just fack out the extra parts that i don't need. What do you think. Will it still run with out them. Cheers.

If you remove it all correctly it will be fine.

ORIGINAL: Ar15 guy

but make sure you take it to a dyno and get it tuned afterward or it'll tend to bogg a little... at least thats what i had to do ;-)
