first off...Welcome! Im sure there are a lot of people here to answer any questions you will ever have.
If you want a repair manual, go to www.stephygee.com and on the bottom you will see a download link for any Honda sport bikes repair manual. If your used to working on cars, bikes shouldnt be much different. Im sure there is a section in there on replacing the clutch. You may need some "special" tools only available through honda though...but i am not sure about this.

I do think that is way too much for what you are describing...or any F3 for that matter. I picked up mine for $2500, perfect cosmetic condition, only needed a new battery and a new R/R(so total of 2600) oh yea...and 12k miles

wow thats alot of money [:'(]you probably could've gotten a salvaged one for around 2k . before you start knockin salvaged bikes take the time to know exactly why a bike gets totaled out for what reasons and then make a decision. i have a friend with a clean title 04 1krr that was flipped in a ditch 3 times and wrecked bad but it still has a clean title 
same with the 929 i jus sold it was wrecked needed a new front end but it was clean title. i've owned plenty of actual theft recovery bikes that carried salavage titles and were in great shape. you shouldnt judge a bike based solely on its title status... if you do you end up paying 3700 for a f3

Well, I looked at the KBB value and it was about right. Another reaason why it was sold for that price was because 1) I basically called and bought it from the guy about 10 minutes after he put it up on Craigs List, and 2) It's the summer time and bikes are being sold quick for multiple reasons.

Thanks point, the seller did mention that he would take it back if I didn't want it but I think I'll keep it.
As for gearing up, leather jacket all the time, helmet, gloves, bionic knee guards, bionic vest armor, and over the ankle shoes. I just bought the bionic vest armor and I was wondering if I should wear this all the time or just for certain rides..?
