Just got a 98 f3 :)
 

hey guys, new to the bike world, but i've been racing my car for about 2 years now (03 wrx with more mods than i wanna type at the moment)


just picked up a 98 f3 from my buddy the other day for a really good deal.
man these things are fun

anyways, so far done to it is....

a two brothers exhaust,
sprocket and chain change
racing rotors and upgraded pads and stainless steel lines
engine cage
its jetted


for me, it has plenty of power (for now) buahahha but i wanna know what i can do to make it handle better. Maybe some new oil in the front shocks and a rear spring?
so im basically looking for suggestions on handling for my bike.

ill get some pics up of my car and bike pretty soon. and thanks to those who give some advice


p.s. are there any conversion kits as far as the cluster goes. does someone make an aftermarket digital MPH gauge?

i myself haven't seen any digital gauges for our f3's but that doesn't mean they don't make them i guess..... i would go with maybe an ohlins rear shock/spring set up, oil in the good ol' front shocks wouldn't hurt and go with some frame sliders to be on the safe side.....

Yea I have the same bike and it is awesome. I have checked around for a digital speedo but I have not come up with anything yet. Let me know if you find one.

yea, i haev an engine cage/slider :)

ill keep my eye out for a speedo and thanks for the input on the shock and spring, about how much does that cost?

also you guys, i wanna change out my rear brake light for LED lights so i can get rid of my ugly blinkers. (flush mount but still not super pretty)
