Jet Kit help
I have a 1996 F3 with the California emissions. The PO had purchased the bike from LA with a Vance and Hines slip on and he added a K&N filter. Once I got it to Colorado it was running extremely richblack smoke above 8K RPM and and little to no power from 5K-6.5K RPM. I started with plugs, cleaned the filter, sync'd the carbs. After syncing it spit flames on decleration, but otherwise ran much better but still lacked lower range power so i took a go at adjusting the pilot jets, now it runs smooth from 3k-redline but seems to flood the cylinders if it idles for more than ten seconds which sucks at lights to rev it to 4k just to go without bogging. . . So now I have pulled the carbs to clean them and re-adjust. looks like the first owner had installed a jet kit. My manual says that all my main jets should be #135, I have a #140 jet on 1,4, and #142.5 jet on 2,3 and 40S jet for my pilot jets, along with an adjustable needle. The 142.5 say "RD" on them and the #140 jets, along with the pilot jets have a symbol that resembles a star or a k (see my rough picture below) I'm trying to figure out if anyone knows who makes this kit so i can find a starting place for adjustment.Or do I maybe need smaller jets? I operate my bike normally at 5,000 ft elevation but regularly make runs to 6,500 ft.
Here is what I have so far... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Needle position from PO

Sorry for the book I just wrote, new to the F3, and motorcycle carbs.

Sounds like your running to rich on bottom.
And that logo is Keihin, that's the brand of the stock carbs you can buy any size Keihin you want for those carbs, a dealer or many online motorcycle companies sell Keihin Jets.

ok, I ended up just raising the clip one notch and putting my pilot screws to 1/2 turn out from seat. runs much better, took care of the 5-7K flat spot it had when i bought it, (I had previously tried every other 'fix' for that symptom on the forum). thanks for the help !
