It's tough, but someone has to do it.
We got up this morning and it was so nice, we just had to ride out to the beach for breakfast. The air temp was perfect, the sun was shining and someone just had to do it. We headed out about 7:30 AM or so, due East about 12 miles to Deerfield Beach, then up US A1A along the coast about 30 miles to Lake Worth, Fl to a great spot on the beach called John G's. If you're ever in the area, check it out. We got there about 8:45 ( speed limit is 35 along the coast and lots of police). The water was calm with a nice Easterly breeze. After we went for a nice ride in Western Palm Beach county. In the afternoon we caught some small showers, but nothing too bad.
Anyone else get any good riding today ?
Here's the view from in front of the resturant. For those interested it's at the end of the causway on the Atlantic side of the barrier islands in Lake Worth, FL.

gah, seeing pictures like that gives me the motorcycle fever soo bad! being in colorado it still isn't good riding season, but we get some random warm days in the middle of snow storms. Haha 70 degrees saturday, then snow sunday and monday, gotta love it.

Ya know, I was looking at Google Earth and thinking of our English friends across the pond. I noticed that there is no place in GB that is below 50 degrees lattitude. Also, that there is nowhere in the continental US (not including Alasks)that is above 50 degrees lattitude. That must make for an incredibly short spring summer and fall for good riding.

yeah, every once in a while I make the mistake of saying "its not thaaat cold" haha it only takes once....well once a month, for me to realize cold riding isn't always fun. I'm gonna be going to the FL this summer once I finish up this semester of school, and I'm just freaking out cause I wont have my bike to enjoy it...I just hope I can handle it!

Here in Tulsa, Ok our riding season is slowly starting up. The temps here in spring are around the 60's and 70's, but the bad part is it's also our rainy season. This weekend we had some pretty good temps, but, it was forcasted to rain also. April is normally when things start to get a little better for us. I know I'm ready! My baby is also ready!
