hi guys i just joined the forums and im looking at buying a 96 f3, now its has some cometic problems that i need help with. The bike was the smoking joe fairing style, but the guy used the bike as a stunt bike so the plastics are scrapped up badly. also the front upper clip(the bars that holds the gauges cluster and headlights) is bent, so i would need another one of those. Could u guys tell me some info about this stuff? thx

 

The upper fairing stay will have to come from Honda, but TARGA offfers a set of aftermarket F3 fairings that are considerably cheaper than the stock stuff......The upper ( 3 pieces) from Honda is more than $1000 alone!!![:@]

 

well the fairings im not worried about , i just need that metal bar piece, the gauge cluster and headlight bolts to it, thats what bent. Know how much i could get one of those for?

 

I was just at a local m/c salvage place here in Denver. And I saw they had a couple of brckets for the f3. I also saw that they had a couple of new three piece sets of uppers for around 375. They're called Steele's motorcycle salvage, and they have their own website, don't have the exact address, though.

 

i called the local honda dealership and they quoted me 270, which isnt to bad. Now i need to decide on if i should just trash my old fairings or take them to a bodyshop to get repaierd, or just look for a nice bodykit. Any suggestions?
