runs 55 mph at somewhere between 4k and 5k in 6th. Indicated speed is higher than that. Do they make those speed fixing devices for f3's? (96 f3)

you can also just count up the teeth and see how many there are 16/43 i believe is stock for a f3

 

Ok, well I KNOW the rear sproket is engraved with 1000/45, or soemthing to that effect. Guess I'll have tp check the front as well.

My front sprocket is -1.

At highway speeds of 50-75 I run 10 less in rpms than in speed.
For example, I run 5000rpms at 60mph or 6000rpms at 70mph.

 

I don't know that I've ever seen a sprocket that didn't have it's tooth-count stamped onto it.

15/43 tooth-count for the F3's.

That's about right though. When I was riding mine I think it was around 6500RPM's in 6th gear at about 75MPH. Your speed/RPM seems normal. Why do you insist that it isn't?
