I've got a spare set of F3 carbs laying around, but I don't know how to tell what year they are. Not sure where they came from either. If anyone can give me some quick ways to check I'd appreciate it.

Cool, I'll go check those now. But, there anyway to tell what year, like '95-'96model, or the '97-'98 model. I ask because the jet kits available are split up for f3's, ie the kits for the 95-96s are different part numbers than those for the 97-98s.

So I was just flippin through my service manual, and it gives those identification numbers for F3 carbs (no years specified). So based on this I would assume them all to be the same (95-98), but I don't understand the differnences in jet kits. I'm just wondering what parts are interchangable off the 95 carbs to my '98 carbs.

 

Checked the spec sheets for Dynojet kits (for 95-96s and 97-98s) and the only differences in part numbers are the main jets. The 95's are from 130-140, while the 98s are 132-142. So I take it the carbs are the same, and the jet kits and parts from the carbs are interchangable?
