Arrow How much work to go bare?

Hey, i just got this bike about a week ago.. It was wrecked at 15mph (so i was told) and then stunted. I have it down this far right now and i was wondering how hard it would be to go all the way down to bare frame? I want to check for cracks/dents in the frame & also repaint it before it put it back on the road. Give me some suggestions in hours or days if ya would. Thanks!

Stripping it to the frame doesn't take too long, it took me about 4 hours (maybe less, was last year) in total for a complete strip down (disassembling the forks and all). The fun part is putting it back together... Just make sure you keep everything well organized, labeled if possible and take pictures if you can (helps with the, "where the crap does this go?" moments).

Alright thanks for the info man! One more question, are the forks loaded down alot? Like will they spring up and pinch my fingers once i loosen the fork top? And about how hard is it to re-route all the wiring? (my greatest fear is the wiring)

If you take the forks off they aren't a problem (no weight compressing them further), mine popped up about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch. Wiring isn't bad, I've got an old CB750 (78) and I completely redid the whole harness twice. If you're gonna redo the harness, or cut it, make sure you've got a wiring diagram just in case you get confused (get a Honda shop manual), but all the wires are color coded and if its cut and splice its easy, and if you're gonna cut whole chunks at a time (like the while front at once), mark the harness on either side of the cut with masking tape and label them so you get the right parts back together (A/A, B/B, etc.)
