Does anyone know how much brake fluid I need to fill the rear brake?


Also how much do I need to kill the front brake.

Non of the manuals actually state the amount you need. It all depends on how much fluid needs to be bled through the hoses to get rid of the air bubbles & if your starting from scratch, how much fluid is needed to fill the hoses as well as the reservoirs.
I always buy a couple of bottles just to do one brake (just in case) plus I use a bit in the bleed bottle as well.

 

The standard size brake fluid bottle of 'Prestone DOT 4 Synthetic' at Walmart is $2.68 and will do 2-3 changes of both front+rear
