Hey guys i was wondering if any of you know how many of the smokin joes edition cbr 600 f3 were made in 1998 ive tried to find out but so far no luck any info would be great thanks

Cool thanks for the input. Thats what i was thinking but dont know for sure. The reason im asking is I kinda want to paint the bike but if its that rareI might just sell it and buy a different one.

Just kidding, seen quite a few here (Aust). friend had 2 (stacked one, bought another)

 

I just want to find out if it's a rare bike or prett common before i get it painted would hate to mess it up if it is rare i do know its #422 but out of how many??? don't know

 

My smokin' Joes is no more. I've painted it black. Every week in the summer though my dad comes home saying how he saw a bike that looked just like how mine used to look. Besides, the only thing different about the smokin joes is the paint and stickers....

 

yeah thats kinda what i'm leaning towards but i dont know might hold out till my son gets old enough to ride who knows as long as i leave it stock might end up to be worth alot in 10- 15 years never know

 

For wot its worth, original is original, (always try to keep my bikes that way) CBR's are pretty common now but.. I went to a bike museum a little while back, saw a lot of nice old bikes, actually saw quite a few of the type I've owned (could been the ones I owned) point being, they were not worth squillions, but nostalgia can make things $$$'s. Now if you had a nice 70's MV Augusta 750 sitting in the garage.
