HELP! Need vacuum hose diagram

Ok I just got a 96 f3 and needless to say its in a lot worse shape than I thought. The bike has a new motor and trans and it ran kinda ruff and wouldn't idle or run without the choke open. I cleaned the carbs completely today and I can't figure out the vaccum hoses. I have two solenoids with three hose inputs. I have nothing hooked up to the hose that runs up to the headlight area and nothing coming off either of the small air intake tubes on the sides of the ram air intake. I also have some kind of flat diaphram looking thing that has a hose that runs over to the coolant take and is plugged. So anyone that can help me figure out the plumming of these hoses would really help! thanks in advance

The repair manual you can find here might help

yep I have been studying the manual all day. Here is what I have found. The bike I have is a California emissions bike, however when the motor was replaced (including the carbs) they are a non-cali emissions bike. So my bike has the plumbing for the cali bike but its a non cali engine. So how can I convert it back over to a non cali bike and do I have to change the ICM? Thanks

get yourself a manual it will have a full diagram if I was there I could do it in ten minutes but I am not so just do what the service manual shows they atr detailed

the problem is I have TWO solenoid valves and the non cali model only has one. Not sure which one to unplug and if I will need to get a new ICM or not.

If you look at the diagram on page 5-25, you'll see that the California model has an Air Vent Solenoid Valve, and a EVAP CAV Solenoid Valve. The 49 State model has only the Air Vent Solenoid. It shows what hoses go where on just the 49 State model. Check the wiring diagram to see what color the connector is for the Air Vent Solenoid so you know which one needs to be plugged in as well as which one it is. Physically the both look and operate the same. The wiring harnes on the bike side for the Air Vent Solenoid Valve is a G and O/BL wires. This is on page 19-4.

Looks like the ICM is the same for both bikes.

Whenever I have problems deciphering the diagrams in the manual, I just go over to the parts fische to help figure it out. I am pretty sure idodirt answered your question, but if you still need help with routing and such, take a look at the fische I have up on my site: LINK.

Cheers!
