Did you get a chance to take pics? Did you use the f3 or 1000rr fairing bracket?

Just now starting to mockup the front fairings. Did you have to change to a small radiator? Mine is touching the fairings.

I've fitted 08 blade fairings to mine. I had to cut the ends of the front fairing bracket and weld them back on slightly shorter. I also had to move the radiator up a little and back a fair bit.

For the side mounts I just bent up some steel strip, drilled it both ends and bolted it to the side engine mount plates, then just twisted them till the holes lined up with the fairing.

The back mounts were easy, just bent and drilled aluminium strip. Left one off the kickstand bolt, using the original mounting point in the fairing. The right side i fibre-glassed in some 0.9mm aluminium plate in then drilled a new hole.

I also had to trim up the inside of the fairing where it hit the radiator and grind down the feet on the sump on the right side to try and get it as far back and high as i wanted.

Thanks for the info. When I was going over your pictures I didn't see the radiator fan. Are you not going to have one or not put it on yet?

No, fan. I'm not running one as it'll only ever be a race bike. If it starts to get hot while not moving i'll switch it off

Well I just took the fan off and flattened the curve of the radiator some. It now slides up in the frame some more. I think if I cut off the lower fan mount and flatten it out some more I should be good. Still have to do some trimming to the fairing.
