HELP! 1997 cbr600f3 starting problem.
Hey everyone, so I recently picked up a 1997 cbr 600F3 that was stolen and wrecked. The guy I bought it from told me "it will not start" so after getting it home I found that the fuel pump contacts were corroded to hell. So I ripped that off and gravity feed the bike. Once that was done I started the bike and it started up very easily but proceded to die even with choke all the way on. I tried it a few more times and let the bike warm up for a little bit, choke all the way on and the bike was at least staying on. tried to ride it and with rpms below around 5k the bike would bog and die. figured that this might be the carbs being dirty "the pilot jet more than likely" I took them apart and cleaned them pretty good, put the bike back together and now the bike will not start at all. it turns over and with a push start it trys to kick over but dies as soon as I stop running with it.
So now I am in a guessing game as to what might be the problem, could it be that I didn't seat the carbs back in properly? spark plugs? any information would be greatly appreciated.
