Headlight stays on high beam
 

Hi,

I've had a problem with the headlight ever since I bought the bike: the low / high beam switch doesn't seem to work at all and as a result it's staying on high beam the entire time. Bulbs are fine.

I've taken a look at the light switch assy, slightly sanded the connections a bit but this doesn't seem to be making any difference.

Am I right for suspecting the light switch assy? Or is there anything else that anyone would recommend?

It sounds like the switch. Go at it with a multi meter and that will tell you whether it is working or not. Easy way to diagnose it. God luck!

True. I guess I was hoping there was a quick (and cheap) fix that wouldn't require replacing the entire assy. No such luck I guess. :(
