Headlight Bulb
 

1) What type of headlight bulb does the F3 use ?

2) What type of upgrade for better light output should I upgrade to ?

3) What is the best way to get to the old bulb to replace it ?

1. It uses a H4 bulb 55/60w.
2. I upgraded to a H4 PIAA bulb that draws 55/60w and puts out 100/110w (+/- 10w cant remember) blue low beam and white high beam. $45
3. Lay on the ground and get it from the bottom. Sometimes the plug will be hard to get off. It was a pain the first time I did it.

You can get the H4 headlight bulb at any auto parts store. But, if you want the PIAA bulb, you'll probably want to do a google search.

You can buy them from www.denniskirk.com or www.chaparral-racing.com I'm sure there are other places around also like Ebay. But watch out on Ebay, they sell very cheap bulbs and they claim they are like 8000k bulbs. Wrong I got screw out of $20 and recieved some very very very crappy bulbs.
