so here it is after having to redo basically all of it since my front stay i had was bent and when i put the headlight in it didnt line up like i wanted anymore so i bought a new one and remounted everything still have some finishing hardware to do rubber washers and what not and get all the same looking allan heads but i rode it today, shes sturdy! f4i guages in and working



Still alot of work to go knotch and weld the back for the seat/rear of tail, mount tail to tank pieces, cut and mount the tank to front cowl cover pieces, bought a titanium akrapovic exhaust i was gonna cut down but i think i gotta stick with carbon fiber for this bike looks better on it but that D&D is to loud let alone shortening it...so back on the akrapovic carbon fiber hunt i go ...and of course a undertail not sure how im doing that yet...all frame/motor painting and powdercoating will be done in the winter im in Minnesota and its time to get f'n ridin

 

that looks pretty cool with the white/black....what finish is on the front end is it just flat paint or is it something else? from the pics it looks almost lightly textured

I am with you, I am almost ready to mount my fairings once I make some custom brackets to mount the rear. I do not even want to mount the tail yet because I do not have a tail light or seat for the 03-04 RR tail.

 

Gotcha, either way it looks dope, good work. U gunna get the triangular frame covers? Thay would look sweet on there.
U thought about getting a hotbodies megaphone exhust? That's what I wanted to fit on mine but I ran out of money, they look like they would be a perfect look with the rr tail

 

Hey did you have to remove any of the old F3 tail mountings? I noticed when I mocked my tail up it was rubbing on the left side where the old tail use to slide into a rubber piece

no megaphone exhaust to loud i want to get a akrapovic carbon fiber and cut it down and yea just waiting on the trinagle peices.............bammer...i cut all tabs off the rear anything that stuck out get rid of it...check turbo's write up on his tail and just make your life that much easier he did a great write up on it
