I second billetproof97. If you could take pics or even a video of the whole thing in operation so we can visually see it in action that would be greatly appreciated.

I would put a video up if i had something like that. very few people can say they can pop their seat on their bike to get something out of their storage compartment. plus i think it would be cool to see a video of it

Can you put the larger tray in without it showing down past the tail fairings?

Do you have a video of it working or more pics of it fully installed and working?

Alright ya ungrateful bastards, I finally had time to make a video of the trunk kit working.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5PKg5HtSsI

Sorry about camera swinging, I had it taped to the ceiling.

I mounted the switch under the tail in front of the license plate.

All you gotta do is push and hold the button then lift the seat. The solenoids are not very strong, you will have to adjust them so they don't bind. when putting the seat back down you might have to jiggle it to get the rods back through the holes.

Last part in the video I show how it makes the seat a little lose, it can move around a tiny bit because of not being bolted down.

Any other ?

@dyracuse - No, without modification the trunk pan the kit comes with will hang down. You can either cut it up and make it work or fab your own that wont hang out.

Is that because you have a 98 with the smaller tail? I have the 96, so the tail goes down more, the kit was designed for the f2 and old f3.
