I switched out my right clip on on my 96 F3 since my original was bent when it was knocked over by some idiot in a parking lot last year. I noticed that I couldn't screw the bar end on becasue the handlebar weight wasn't inside. Is there any way to get it out of my old one? It looks impossible unless I cut the handlebar around it. Thanks for any help.

Use the screw from the bar end. You just need to thread it in as far as you can and pull the weight out. It will take some muscle, but it worked for me.
