Default fuel question

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many gallons of fuel a 95 f3 holds and how much of that is for reserve, i am trying to see how many mpg i am getting because i am only getting about 95 to 100 miles out of a tank before i have to hit reserve.

I always get between 160 and 170 miles or so from full to reserve and I have been about another 30 miles on reserve ... this works out to about 53 mpg for me ... this has been consistent since my bike was new ... yours sounds terribly low ... maybe you need to service it?

Jules

PS I'm working in imperial gallons here - I gallon = 4.5461 litres :-)

I bought the bike used and the guy i bought it from said that it was a race bike at one time and he thought it had different camshafts and a jet kit in it, is there any way i can tell if any of this has been done or not?

I just put new plugs in it about a month ago, the bike runs awesome so i have never cleaned the carbs, but the front sprocket is a 14 tooth, do you think that going down one tooth would make that much of a difference?
