I'm running this one for about 1000 miles with 0 issues. This pump is available at advancedautoparts and autozone.

Which one are you using? I need a pump too but when I click the link, I see a ton of them.

Also considering doing gravity feed. Anybody have any thoughts/opinions on this?

you know, i once spent more than 3 hours pushing my bike ... because of this problem.. and i was like almost crying.... i couldn't take it .... and i swore to never go with the fuel pump again......

so i went gravity feed instead.... check out my vid:

one more thing! i love your quote in the end! ride on bro!
and plz keep me updated with your 954 forks

this failed very well on my bike... guess it only works for some bikes

anyways in the manual it says while testing the pump "If no continuity (in the relay) short the black and black/blue wires at the relay connector"... can i just do that to bypass the bad relay?

Hmm, I would think without a switch (the fuel cut-off relay) the pump would just run endlessly as long as it had 12VDC. Which in turn will fill those float bowls and keep on filling your cylinders. I dont know for sure tho, so make sure your ready for anything when you start crossing wires together. Hope you get it working, and let us know what happens. good luck
