Fuel pump help

So recently my bikes been having a lot of issues. I just got it back from shop about a week ago. It was having car issues. Anyways I have the carbs rebuilt and it was running great for this whole week. Up until 2 days ago. I noticed that when it gets hot it sputters for a second and then dies out pretty quickly. With the choke on or off there's no spark trying to start it. Not until I let it cool off completely for about an hour. Then it runs fine for about 15 more minutes and does the same. I noticed that the fuel pump was running super hot and constant. To the point to where it started to force fuel out the sides of the fuel pump. Once it started leaking I shut down the bike tried to diagnose it for a minute and couldn't figure it out. I'm assuming it has something to do with the CDI or the pulse generator. Any help or advice would be much appreciated, thanks

You may want to check/replace the fuel pump contacts on the back of the fuel pump.
