RE: Front tire

the bike came stock with a 120/60-17 Bridgestone Battalax BT-50 in most cases...but most people go to a 120/70-17 tire (which is a much more common size nowadays) to give better feedback since that tire has more sidewall when leaned over at max lean ( such as a trackday) just be sure that the fender has clearance and has room for expansion since a tire usually "swells" at high speed. This taller tire might slightly slow down your steering response, and you can counter this effect by moving the fork tubes up slightly to compensate..if you are not sure or uneasy doing this, any motorcycle shop that is worth anything should be able to help you..Where do you live??
The tire info is also located on the frame tag that has the VIN number..it should have the GVWR, tire size, ect....I am talking about the tag that has 1995 visable on it in BIG BOLD LETTERING and at one corner it will have the model of your bike as well.
I hope this helps.
Take Care

I've used both sizes on the track. If you put the 120/70 be careful your first time out. Different tire companies have different curve profiles to them. Some are still round "U" and others are more like a "V" shape. On the "V" tires there's a point at which the bike just wants to fall in. I've seen a number of people at the track double choke a turn the first couple of laps each session. I asked a couple of the guys why they kept doing that. Top of the list was new tires. Well long store short, the tires they were using before was more "U" shape and put new "V" shapes on.
