Hi,
I have just bought some frame sliders for my CBR 600 F3 and I have noticed
that one bolt is longer than the other, could somebody please tell me which side
each bolt goes.

If you are sitting on the bike the longer bolt goes to the left side.When you take the left side motor mount bolt out it will have a spacer the longer bolt has to run through.

 

Mhonda is right. I believe the left is 10mm x 100mm and the right is 10mmx90mm. I put mine in wrong the first time and it does make a difference.

What kind did you get? I got Lockhart Philips. Would have gotten Vortex but they didn't make them for the F3s. They made them for the F4is. However I do believe the F4i sliders will work because I want to say that the F4i has 2 10mm x100mm. Worste case you put a washer on.

 

Hey tvoburner, they're right the longer goes on the left. The original bolts are 10x80 on left and 10x60 on right. The new bolts will be equally longer on both sides. I hope you didn't pay any more for your frame sliders than these are.I'm using them on both my F3's and they fit perfectly. Not hard to install either.

everything went ok.
I purchased some cheapy extended ones off of ebay from the US ( I'm in the UK)
and I was very pleased with the quality. (auction number 360025433780) sorry
I'm not sure how to do a link.

 

Good decision. They'll work just as well as the ones costing stupid money.
