fork seals

so removed second fork and seems worse, as i cant get the bottom screw undone i nearly rounded it up. so i left it there, tryd still split them apart but nothings happening.

heres some pics.

The bottom screw is required to separate the fork tubes. The screw holds the cartridge in place and if you try to separate the tubes you risk damaging the cartridge. Try some heat and an impact gun to remove the bolt, they're often placed in with Loctite. Obviously you might want to replace it once you get it free.

thats the problem i dont have any good tools as i dont work on car or motorcycle that much. one fork as i said i got the screw off, but there is still no luck on separating tube from bushing.

In every video I've seen of a fork service, it requires some muscle (a swift pull) to separate the tubes once everything holding them is undone (bolts, snap rings, etc). I'll be doing my fork upgrade in about a week and then I'll have 1st hand experience with it myself on USD forks.

right so took forks to garage, one of them he had to drill thru to take the bottom bolt off and replace it, and then he was struggling to take tube and bushing apart but after 30min he did it. all replaced and sitting on bike! success!
